Plomari is famous for its marvellous and clean beaches.

 

Our Apartmets located close to Eso Papas BeachAgios Isidoros beach is located 2 kms from the center of the town eastwards as you go to Mitilini. Its name is taken from Agios Isidoros(Saint Isidoros) church that is located there. It is a constantly prize winning beach with the Blue Flag since 1992, the most famous and mainstream beach of Plomari and why not of Lesvos Island. It has been voted according to Internet surveys as the seventh best beach of Greece. All the services are provided as you can find hotels, rented rooms, restaurants, beach bars, cafès, bars, mini markets and car rental shops.

 

Melinta beach is located 6 kms westwards of Plomari and 3 kms in the west of the village Paleohori. In the area you can find 3 traditional tavernas that offer rented rooms. The big Rock of Melinta stands out there in the west part of the beach. This beach is a destination not only for the foreigners but for the local visitors also and is offered for camping and nudism. Melinta preserves its traditional natural beauty.

 

Ammoudeli beach is located just 300 m from the central square of Plomari to the westward direction to Melinda. There you can find two fish tavernas, a kids play cafè, a beach bar and hotels for your accommodation. Ammoudeli is a picturesque beach that for some decades now has enthusiastic fans from all over the world.

 

Eso papas beach and Plakakia beach are located at a distance around of 500 m. from the centre of Plomari. Eso papas beach is very popular with a background of the big building of the old olive press and Plakakia is a quieter beach with the unique red marbles (rocks) and the plaques. Next to Plakakia beach is the old soap factory of Michalellis. Across the coast of wider area of Plomari there are also smaller and isolated beaches accessible only by yacht.
